Benefit Appeal Form

If you receive a written decision about your Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support which you think is wrong, you can:

1. Ask us to explain it - you can telephone, visit or write to ask us to explain our decision. If you want more information you can ask us to provide a written statement of reasons.
2. Ask us to look at it again - we will look at our decision again and check that it is correct. We will write to you with the outcome.
3. Appeal to an independent tribunal.
